How YOU can make NoF rawk even HARDER!!

I posted this relatively-short piece on Facebook and MySpace just a few minutes ago. Figured I'd do it there first since SOME people don't check the forums. Tsk tsk.. That's okay: they'll be the ones missing out! ;o)

The subject matter here is simple: how can YOU help out with the collective Nip cause? After around a decade or so of running this clan, it never ceases to amaze me how many people complain about lack of activity or organization yet those very same people are not plugged in, using our system and following the rules. Do you want to be part of the solution or part of the problem? It’s not so tough.. If you are competitive and want to see us more organized in our competitive gaming efforts, there are simple ways to make everything jive... Read on! =oD

I just wanted to take a moment to thank all the team players that, year after year, make an effort to make NoF much more than a gaming clan or even a chat group.. You guys and gals recognize the importance of plugging in and exercising a "the buck stops here" attitude. Your efforts, no matter how big or small, are certainly appreciated!

Plugging in is key.

Some people are tired of hearing the broken record but it’s true: plugging in is EVERYTHING. People that are not plugged in will never understand what it means to be considered a CORE member. If you’re not plugged in, you’ll almost always be out of the loop. Those that are not plugged into the NoF system won’t really be heard because those that DO plug in will come through loud and clear.

Plugging in simply means: follow our system. Listen to clan officers. Read up on clan expectations, guidelines, laws, and traditions, making them your own little-by-little. Greet new members and old members alike - make yourself SEEN! Idle on IRC, even if you don’t say a single word. It doesn’t kill CPU power or RAM like other chat programs do and it’s where the creme-de-la-creme gets together for some good times.

Look beyond your game, project, or activity of choice. There’s a bigger world out there and we’re here to share it with those that truly keep themselves open to all possibilities. Of course, this is advice to those that want to be more than a placeholder on our rosters. I mean, if you’re involved in our competitive units and you are not plugged in, it’s like you’re shooting yourself in the foot.. Help us get organized and stay organized - it all comes around FULL CIRCLE, folks!
