Guess who, it's me, Skate! Yes, the Skate, the one you all love more than life itself. Who doesn't really play ARC unless Yogi bugs him about it over and over. Well let me tell you what I've been doing.
http://www.puzzlepirates.com
I've been playing this game, and I think you losers should check it out as well. It's a very fun and addicting game. Theres a free week long trial, but after that if you want to continue playing its $10 a month, but it's worth it, I've got the quarterly plan myself
Anyway, what you do in this game. The backbone is the puzzles, on every ship, there's puzzles for the different stations that make the ship go, for examples Sails, Gunning, Carpentry, and Bilging. You earn money by sailing on ships and getting into battles with other ships. Theres swordfight puzzles, rum drinking puzzles, and even Spades and Hearts for you gamblers.
What to do with money? You can buy nice clothes to show off your wealth, buy a ship to sail, by supplies for your ship, by a nice sword, or open up your own store to make more money. The entire economy is player run, I myself own a Distillery for making rum for ships.
Want to rule the sea? Well join my crew Or maybe if a bunch of NoFs start playing, the Nipples can form their own crew and gain fame. The most powerful crews get the chance to fight over ownership of the islands people live on, and can govern over all the stores.
There's alot to this game, and it's A LOT of fun. The community is great, and its alot of what ARC used to be like
So try out the trial, and join me for some fun pirate adventures
If you do decide to try it out, when you are logging into the game, look under your login/password screen and change the ocean you play to Cobalt Ocean, that's where I am
If you download the trial, instant message me TheGreatSkate and I'll help you out learning how to play.
Love

OMIGOD! YOU PLAY SPADES! I'm definitely approving this for our clan! We must take over the world - BWAHAHAHA!!!
Did I mention that we LOVE spades??
Skate, you didn't mention to the gang that this is an RPG game.. I'll copy this over to our RPG section as we may be able to head up a new Infinitum branch on there, if anyone wishes to head up our presence there. I'm down for some action.. PUZZLE GAMES RAWK!!!
As for ARC, we're still keeping the spirit of the game alive within us and our alliance. That is why we must stay strong and spread good will throughout all worlds.. ARC's community is now decentralized so, by many standards, it has gone down the poop-chute, but we maintain the nipplyness! =oD
Hmmm... I think I may start playing this today if I can get some stuff done. If not, next weekend since I'm probably not going out-of-state now! =o]
(Too bad the game is pay-to-play.. I think a lot of our guys would be too cheap for that. Then again, I was surprised everyone got into Anarchy Online before!)
Arrrr... Where be my grog and fine lass?? _________________ QUOTE OF THE MOMENT: "Giggity. =oO~~"

I actually had to start playing it on my 56k when I lived in the dorms until we got our DSL hooked up, and there's a few times when you might get booted before a swordfight, but it's not much of a problem. Alot of the puzzles are just you doing them, so you aren't going to lose any "edge" because you of lag. _________________ Ev0l Yogi Sez: \"Hi, my name is skate and I don\'t like the forums. Sign back up guys.. We're hitting the game harder this time and trying to make it for good. They've added a lot more since the last time we did a mass join about four years ago. w3rd.
As per our recent announcement, here's a link that will get ya some POE (Pieces of Eight) for you and me...
http://www.puzzlepirates.com/?affiliate=r1403584&lang=en
Please reply here with your name and favorite puzzles. Me, I've been into Bilging, Carpentry, Shipwrigthery, Swordfighting, and Blacksmithing, mainly. I love the Drinking Game, Treasure Drop, and OF COURSE Spades!! Poker is always fun too, but you can lose money quick if you're aggressive like me. LOL...
If you have no clue what we're talking about, just look at Puzzle Pirates as a collection of parlor games and puzzles in an MMORPG package. Here are some of the games they have ripped:
* Tetris
* Dr. Mario
* Pipedream
* Deodalus Opus
* Bejeweled
* Columns
* Bust-A-Move
* Zuma
* Spades
* Poker
* Hearts
...You have the idea! There's something for everyone. You don't have to subscribe to get the most out of the game but it's a lot less of a hassle when you do subscribe. For example, only other people can request hearty/friend status when you are a non-subscriber whereas subscribers can initiate such a request with anyone they encounter "face-to-face".
Each day, there is at least one game that is free to play for non-subscribers in addition to the games that are free every day. Sunday and Wednesday is when the drinking game gets hit hard - definitely worth a good look!!
Oh, and don't forget to apply for citizenship in Spring Island, where most of us are trying to concentrate ourselves now. Somebody drop Skate a line on Facebook and get him to join us over here.. He probably won't cause he's a stat whore but it's worth a shot... ;o)

I had a few peeps play on 56K and it was fine. CPU lag is more an issue for some of the puzzles but, surprisingly, your Internet connection is not a big issue. It'll just take a while to download initially.. And they do update often... A bit TOO often! _________________ QUOTE OF THE MOMENT: "Giggity. =oO~~"
